With Tiger woods, and Jessie James dominating the headlines I wanted to weigh in on so called "sex addiction".

I personally do not believe in sex addiction!! I do not think it is a disease worthy enough to be classified as an addiction.  To be 100 % honest I do not think it is a real disease. Hardly an addiction.  I believe it is an impulse control issue more than anything.  One that  seems to effect the rich and famous more often then not.  Take away someone like Tiger Woods money, fame, and power.  Now you just have an average dude.  One who never would have got that much booty had he not been who he was.  In the real world someone like that is called a whore.  It was all available everywhere he went.  Did he have to act on it?  NO!  He had a beautiful wife at home.  He could have stayed single if he wanted to mingle.  So he makes bad decision like many men.  Does that make him an addict? NO!  Who gave this a title anyways?  This is not an excuse for some man  who cheated on his wife over and over again.  Could that man be sued for alienation of affection then?  I mean you alienated yourself from your wife with your “addiction”.   So why not pay for it like this women in North Carolina.  She has to pay nine million dollars for sleeping with some one else’s man.   (For more info click here http://showhype.com/story/cynthia-shackelford-sues-husband-s-mistress-for-9/)  And as for creeps like Jessie James, who reportedly went into rehab for sex addiction after he was busted for cheating on his wife.   And then reportedly left as soon as his wife would not take his calls.  Making it appear he only went there because she was totally ignoring him. I guess he thought she would talk to him after that.  I’m laughing as I write that because if you think about it, it sounds so pathetic!  And again it makes “Sex Addiction” look like a joke to myself.  I am stating firm I believe these men have an impulse control issue.  Not an addiction.  Maybe addicted to the high he gets walking into a room and having everyone flock to him like some sexy Jesus. But hay guy reality check!  You are not God or his hot son!  So sign some autographs eat an expensive meal drink an expensive drink and go home to your wife after you get your attention fill.  Not put your disco stick into every chick who opens her legs.   If society was not so over sexed then this would not be allowed.  But since sex seems to be the new crack of this nation.  I am afraid we are starting to accept this lousy behavior.  Lets think about it from Elin or Sandra’s point of view.  I bet they don’t accept the addict excuse and neither will I.   It all comes down to self-control.  They had none.   Do you?

Abortion, who's business is it really?

I was driving down the street on my way to an event at a park for my daughter.   As I was stopped at a traffic light I looked up and there was a billboard concerning abortion.   It had a bunch of little kids in little Halloween costumes.   Ones that were like doctors and firemen you know all the classic what do you want to be when you grow up scenarios.  But to the left of all the cute little kids were the words  “who could be missing from your family”  with the word ABORTION in big red letters.  I was reading the billboard at the same time as my daughter except she read it aloud.  What does that mean she asked?  Well since I was being outraged inside at the sign I could only reply with my true feelings.    That means some people need to mind their own business!!  It such bull crap I wont curse.  But it is stupid!   When are people going to realize that, actually it is none of anyone’s business what one person does with their own body.  And if they abort their child then we will never know what they could have been because they were not supposed to have been.   They should get that.  I understand people don’t agree with it.  I myself, am a mother of four. I never thought or needed to have an abortion, even with my first.  I was a very young mother at the nieve age of 17.  I know a girl at the same time who chose abortion.  It was a good choice for her, her life is  where it should be.  Who knows if she would have graduated high school,  even college.  If she would have landed her  corprate job if she had a baby on her hip.  Lord knows I have not been able to achieve such goals  being a mom.  Some do and I look up to those women my head shakes in wonder at how they manage it all.  If you really have a problem with it, work against stopping the late term abortions.  Again, If you really have a problem with it, educate your daughter how to not end up in that situation! Anyways why are you worrying your self with some one else’s trouble?  You say you are a voice for those children, but they don’t have a voice.  Most of them are never more then a few cells starting to fuse.  So you should maybe worry about global warming or going green!  Oh most importantly worry about hanging up your cell phone and just driving.  We all did it just fine ten years ago!  But that's a whole nother issue!!  You know I wish I could afford to buy my own board It would say.. “ hay you…..   mind your own business!!! “   Oh and  “Hang up and drive!!!” Kind of like those GOD ones….   You know… “hay I’m watching you!!!!”   “Go to church!”   I don’t remember what they said anymore.  Who paid for those?
